The EU allocates over 190 million for Ukraine’s needs amid COVID-19 pandemic

The European Union will provide EUR 190 million for Ukraine's immediate and short-term needs amid the pandemic in the framework of Eastern Partnership.

This is stated by the European Comission.

The EU will allocate € 962 million to the countries of the Eastern Partnership to which Ukraine belongs. In total, Ukraine will receive over EUR190 million in aid. The funds will be used to address the following needs: to respond urgently to the health system crisis, to strengthen the health care system and to mitigate the adverse impact of the pandemic on the socio-economic sector.
