As part of the European Union's efforts to support vaccination in partner countries, the Commission increased from €40 million to €75 million its assistance package to deploy safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines and speed up the vaccination campaigns in the six Eastern Partnership countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

The Government has adopted a resolution on the introduction of COVID-certificates. This is a digital document that will confirm the status of the citizen about vaccination, the negative result of PCR tests and the status that the person has recovered from COVID-19.

The key topics of the meeting were: Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, the NATO summit on June 14, security in the Black Sea and bilateral relations. Ukraine shaped concrete proposals for deepening regional cooperation to strengthen security in the Black Sea and called on partners to consider them.
During the meeting, Olha Stefanishina noted that it is important to develop a strategic approach to updating the European Neighborhood Policy.
Common projects with the European Investment Bank are aimed at improving roads in Ukraine, the modernization of the energy sector, the development of municipal, aviation, and railway infrastructure, the development of transport logistics, support for small and medium business, rehabilitation of social infrastructure in Donetsk and Luhansk and other regions of Ukraine.
The main parameters of vaccination certificates have already been shaped by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The participants discussed the assessment of the progress in the achievement of the objectives of the Association Agreement; the agenda of the dialogue between Ukraine and the EU in the framework of the European Green Deal; transformations in the fields of transport and energy.
