Even before receiving the official decision of the European Council to start negotiations, the Government of Ukraine conducted its own self-screening for each negotiating chapter in 2023. This has already allowed us to determine the state of adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to EU law, the amount of work to be done, and to determine approaches to the formation of negotiating teams. The report on the results of the self-screening is available here.
