Lithuania hands over another military aid to Ukraine

Lithuania continues to provide constant military assistance to Ukraine. On Thursday, 15 August, a batch of forklifts, trailers and folding beds for the Armed Forces arrived in Ukraine, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defence reported.
In total, 14 M113 armoured personnel carriers, short-range anti-aircraft missile systems, anti-aircraft jammers, all-terrain vehicles with spare parts, forklifts, rifles, ammunition, smoke grenades, attachments and spare parts for weapons are to be delivered to Ukraine in August.
In response to Ukraine’s requests, this year Lithuania has already donated 155 mm ammunition, M577 armoured personnel carriers, M113 armoured personnel carriers, anti-drone systems, winter gear and warm clothing, ammunition for the Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launcher, RISE-1 remote detonation systems, generators, a decommissioned L-39ZA Albatross light attack aircraft, and other support.
Since the beginning of the war, Lithuania has provided Ukraine with military assistance worth over EUR 641 million. Lithuania’s total support for Ukraine has exceeded €1 billion.
