The 9th explanatory session on the negotiating chapter 5 “Public procurement” was held within the framework of the official EU screening

The session discussed EU regulation and institutional architecture in the field of public procurement, including concessions and public-private partnerships, defence procurement, e-procurement, public procurement requirements for innovation, inclusiveness, SME participation, professionalisation, green requirements and other issues.

The next explanatory sessions will be held on 9-10 April on Chapters 4 “Freedom of Capital Movement” and 6 “Corporate Law”. For the expert community to join the sessions as listeners, follow the announcements on the Facebook page of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister and on the European Integration Portal.
Explanatory sessions on all negotiating chapters will last until the end of May 2024.
